Delivery (Project) Manager

As a delivery manager at FNZ, you will:
• Be responsible for creation, execution and proactive approach to end-to-end delivery plans for the European Delivery Services which deliver projects to FNZ customers.
• Act as an end-to-end client-facing project (delivery) manager. The role will be aligned to client project teams to facilitate and enable the Brno Solution Centre to deliver project outcomes to our customers on time and to a high level of quality.
• Be responsible for scope, quality and financial aspects of a given project.
• Drive delivery of the project from the Brno Solution Centre and take accountability for delivering a positive outcome for our customers
• Develop and maintain standards of delivery planning, tracking and documentation. Ensure that plans and documentation are kept up to date at all times.


• To be the key contact for client facing team and be the solution centre leader responsible for planning, organising, monitoring and controlling all aspects of the applications development, in accordance with SDLC and Development Standards
• Be ready to cooperate and communicate with the client on given subjects when needed.
• Identify upfront and secure the resources (people, services, infrastructure, 3rd party) required to deliver the project and to forward plan with efficient capacity planning.
• Manage Development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
• Work collaboratively and innovatively with the development team, Systems Analysts, lead architect and the Project Manager to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation, including service support.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams at all times and frequently to ensure build deliverables are on schedule and within cost and quality parameters.
• Provide input into strategic planning.
• Be ready for occasional business trips outside of the Czech Republic


• Degree qualified or equivalent
• PMP, PRINCE 2 or equivalent qualification preferred
• Expert in Microsoft Project
• SDLC knowledge is essential
• Significant experience in leading the technical delivery of IT projects (from start to end)
• Experience with waterfall approach (desired)
• Demonstrable experience in being a leader rather than a manager (including team management and conflict resolution experience) and strong leadership skills
• Strong team player, able to manage mixed capability resources
• Experience of managing senior project stakeholders
• Experience in having client exposure, including key client project stakeholders
• Self-starter, able to work independently
• Stress resistance and ability to deliver to strict deadlines
• Experience with working in a multinational environment
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Fluent English
