An opportunity exists within the Hybrid and Electronic System Team for an experienced Battery Systems Engineer to lead and deliver on-going client technology projects.

• To lead technical teams and deliver client projects
• Provide technical leadership for battery systems projects
• Interface directly with clients on technical issues
• Deliver projects on-time and on-budget
• Support the sales teams through client discussions and development of technical proposals

• Master’s Degree in an Engineering or Science related discipline
• Good understanding of cell chemistries used in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles
• Knowledge of battery system architectures and battery management systems
• Experience of designing automotive power systems
• Experience of electrical component integration, design & development on production automotive products
• Willingness to travel internationally on short assignments

• Experience in compliance engineering to external standards, such as high voltage, EMC and functional safety
• Good understanding of product development from requirements to validation
