Installation Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Performs competent installation work, according to Buhler documents,
• efficient and quality conscious
• Organizes and manages the entire construction site (including accommodation, expenses, travel, visas etc.)
• Performs the required time and cost checks
• Heads installation site meetings and records the minutes
• Handles claim management
• Coordinates communication and actions of customer, Buhler, own/third-party employees, subcontractors, buildings works, insurance, etc.
• Ensures performance in compliance with the contract
• Enforces relevant national and international safety regulations
• Keeps the construction site accounts
• Acts as the on-site representative of Buhler
• Assumes all the responsibility for proper technical and on-schedule installation
• Supports Engineering, Sales and Design departments of Buhler

Requirements:

• Technical education or background
• Industry experience, plant industry experience would be an asset
• Knowledge of project management basics and site management: organigrams, process organization and capability planning, time scheduling, prioritization
• Optimal usage of resources (manpower, time, money, etc.) that leads to efficiency, success and therefore customer satisfaction
• Strong communication and social skills (fosters collaboration among employees, masters argumentation and negotiating, treats cultural and social differences with respect and empathy)
• Has full control and can identify weaknesses related to:
• construction issues (concrete, metal, wood)
• infrastructure (energy, water, steam, etc.)
• Knowledge of the relevant national and international safety regulations
• Basic knowledge of the Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office
• Advanced English knowledge (any additional languages would be an asset)
• Traveling abroad 80%
