3PL Warehouse and Inventory Controller

Position Summary

The Dobris facility is consolidating warehousing activities into external warehouses which will be operated by Third Part Logistics (3PL) Providers. The role is to ensure that the external warehouses operate in line with Doosan Bobcat EMEA (DBEM) standards, prepare cost forecasts and cost controls, ensure achievement of budget, drive KPI improvements, and implement Inventory Management processes and controls to ensure Inventory accuracy targets including also the Dobris Plant warehouse. Manage the Cycle Count team and processes (7 subordinates).

Main Responsibility

Implementation Phase

• Define Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to align with DBEM processes.
• Define Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Interface between DBEM, Site Developer and 3PL to ensure coordinated and aligned project activities.
• Agree processes / controls to be operated in existing external facilities, which will transfer to Material Hub

Post Implementation

• Monitor 3PL operational performance against KPI’s.
• Coordinate 3PL Control Tower to ensure smooth operation / corrective measures / continuous improvement
• Regular performance reviews with 3PL Operations management
• Defining operational budgets with review process
• Packaging improvement project management

• Obsolete Inventory Management
• Interface between 3PLs and DBEM (the function of the Control Tower)

Requirements

Education

• University Degree

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in management of 3PL in a Manufacturing environment
