Become part of our Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound team as a DICOM Engineer.

Do you want to change and get actively involved? Then use your expertise and experience to ensure a simple and smooth IT & DICOM integration of our Ultrasound modalities:
• Collaboration on the DICOM standard to address Ultrasound issues
• Independent analysis of complex error patterns from development and out of the field
• Define/Verify the implementation of DICOM on Ultrasound system
• Professional guidance of internal and external experts in the implementation of solutions
• DICOM environment configuration and setup of DICOM services like Store, Storage commitment, Query/Retreive, Modaliy Worklist, Performed Procedure Step, Print, Offline media
• Optional: Contribution as a developer

You are exactly the right person for this position if DICOM is one of your foreign languages and you have following competences:
• Successfully completed university education in computer science or comparable qualifications through practical experience
• 3 years of experience in the development and integration of complex imaging systems and / or medical image diagnosis software
• 3 years of DICOM experience & troubleshooting
• Strong working knowledge (at least 3 years) of DICOM standard and PACS system.
• Experience building DICOM based integrations for interoperability with imaging devices
• Familiar with DICOM tools like DCMTK/JDICOM/OpenDICOM
• Experience in developing with C # and / or C ++
• Experience in IT and Windows based networks
• Analytical skills - structured - self-motivated - result-oriented - holistic thinking - team player

Nice to have:
• Know-how and experience with Windows 10
• WLAN and cloud know-how
