The Opportunity

A Data Engineer with expertise in TM1 is responsible for utilizing various technologies and tools to analyze, process, and translate large and unstructured data sets into meaningful insights. They lead the development of data models and algorithms and oversee the testing and deployment of these models in a production environment. The Data Engineer also plays a crucial role in shaping the data strategy, keeping up with the latest technologies, and maintaining relationships with partner organizations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes large and unstructured data sets using various data engineering technologies and tools
• Translates data science input and requests into mathematical algorithms for data engineering purposes
• Leads the development, testing, and deployment of data models in a data engineering context
• Develops technical roadmaps for data analysis and modeling in a data engineering setting
• Identifies data requirements and influences IS/IT data strategy for data engineering initiatives
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge on modern data engineering technologies
• Explores new platforms and beta tooling for data engineering applications
• Maintains relationships with partner organizations in support of data engineering analysis and deployment.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data modelling.
• Advanced user of IBM TM1/Cognos stack.
• Experience with modeling and developing TM1 applications and processes
• Integration of new applications into data warehouse
• Creating new ETL jobs
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, business acumen and excels in problem solving and analytical skills.
• Up-to-date specialized knowledge of data wrangling, manipulation and management of technologies to affect change across business units.
• Ability to work in an agile and rapidly changing environment with high quality deliverables.
• Experience in Data Lake or Data Warehouse, Datamart environments.
